1. Introduction

These Terms and Conditions govern your use of stolencars.co.za operated by ROUTE 53 VENTURES (Pty) Ltd. By using our platform, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.

2. Nature of Our Service

StolenCars.co.za is a lead generation and comparison platform, not an insurance provider. We connect consumers with licensed South African insurance and vehicle protection providers. We do not:

• Underwrite, sell, or issue any insurance policy
• Guarantee any specific quote, premium, or coverage
• Act as a licensed financial services provider (FSP) in terms of the FAIS Act

Any insurance policy you take out is a direct agreement between you and the relevant licensed provider.

3. Quote Requests

When you submit a quote request, you authorise us to share your contact details with relevant licensed SA providers so they can contact you with a personalised quote. Receiving a quote creates no obligation to purchase. You may receive contact from one or more providers following your submission.

4. BOLO Stolen Vehicle Alert System

4.1 Submitting a BOLO report: By submitting a report, you confirm that:

• The vehicle is stolen and you are the registered owner or an authorised representative
• The information you provide is accurate to the best of your knowledge
• You have reported (or will report) the theft to SAPS

4.2 False reports: Submitting a false or fraudulent BOLO report is a criminal offence. We reserve the right to report suspected fraudulent submissions to SAPS.

4.3 Public nature of BOLO alerts: Vehicle details and photographs submitted in a BOLO report will be broadcast publicly to our subscriber network and displayed on our BOLO board. Do not include sensitive personal information beyond what is required.

4.4 No liability for outcomes: StolenCars.co.za does not guarantee vehicle recovery. We are not responsible for the actions of third parties who receive BOLO alerts.

4.5 SAPS warning: If you spot a stolen vehicle from our board, do NOT approach it. Call SAPS immediately on 10111.

5. BOLO Alert Subscribers

By subscribing to BOLO alerts, you consent to receiving email notifications about stolen vehicles in South Africa. You can unsubscribe at any time via the unsubscribe link in any alert email.

6. Accuracy of Information

We strive to keep information on our platform accurate and up to date. However, we make no warranties regarding the accuracy, completeness, or fitness for purpose of any content. Provider details, pricing, and availability are subject to change.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by South African law, Stolen Cars SA shall not be liable for:

• Any loss or damage arising from your use of our platform
• The actions or omissions of third-party providers
• Failure to recover a stolen vehicle reported via our BOLO system
• Any indirect, special, or consequential loss

8. Intellectual Property

All content on stolencars.co.za including text, design, logos, and code is the property of ROUTE 53 VENTURES(Pty) Ltd. You may not reproduce or redistribute any content without prior written permission.

9. Third-Party Links

Our platform may contain links to third-party websites. We are not responsible for the content or privacy practices of those sites.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa. Any disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the South African courts.

11. Changes

We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of our platform after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
